Learn for Empowerment is an Indigenous-focused work experience and employment program designed using a medicine wheel framework. This 12-month, paid work experience and employment opportunity provides Indigenous peoples access to practical work experience at the university. The program has been designed to enhance program participants’ employability via hands-on learning, skill-building and professional development using Western and Indigenous teachings and ways of doing.
