Urban Field Biology - Water Ecosystems
A two-week field course (late August - early September) at selected field locations in Toronto area accessible by transit. Students will: learn about urban water ecosystems; develop field biology skills (sampling methods and  identification); improve ability to accurately and reflectively characterize field observations; collect data for their own scientific experiment (individually or in small groups); and present their findings during in-class workshops or seminars.
