Teacher and Guidance Counsellor Day at TMU

Architectural Science - Postcard to Progress

Join Department of Architectural Science Chair Lisa Landrum for a tour of the Architecture Building and introduction to the closing exhibit Buone Nuove/Good News: Women in Architecture. Participate in mapping the sites in Toronto designed by women and create your own “Postcard to Progress,” with a vision for more inclusive city-building.

Engineering - Build to not Break Egg Drop Competition

Think like an engineer! Join this session to build the best structure with the goal of protecting an egg being dropped from increasing heights.

Faculty of Science - Robotics Workshop 

The Computer Science Department is hosting an introductory robotics workshop, where you’ll learn about circuitry, programming, and troubleshooting their robots. Using an Arduino and bumper sensors, you’ll customize the behaviour of a robot when it collides into an obstacle.

Ted Rogers School of Management - Excel Essentials for Educators: Taught by Tomorrow’s Leaders

This session will feature a "Bootcamp on Excel Essentials" (Lite Version), designed specifically for you and led by Ted Rogers students. You’ll learn practical Excel skills to streamline grade calculations and manage your student data. Additionally, hear from Dr. Allen Goss, Interim Chair of Finance and former Associate Dean of Students, about the Business Career Hub (BCH) and the Ted Rogers Co-op Program, which now allows high school students to apply directly through the OUAC portal.

This workshop will guide you through a small number of hands-on, applied and highly relevant applications of geographic tools and methods. You’ll understand and visualize some some of our most important urban issues while exploring the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies Computer Lab facilities.
